Appointments are available every day. An appointment with a specific doctor may be several days ahead. All surgeries are by appointment only and are for one patient per appointment
Appointments can be made by telephoning the practice or calling at reception. Please give as much notice as possible when cancelling an appointment.
Routine appointments to see a doctor or nurse can be made by telephoning the surgery on 01357 522 993 between 8.30am and 6.00pm. You may also make an appointment in person between these hours.
Appointments can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance. These appointments are booked at intervals of 10 minutes. Every effort is made to keep to these times. However, we are sure you will understand that there will be occasions when this overruns.
Please make a separate appointment if more than one member of the family is to be seen.
If you cannot keep your appointment for whatever reason, please ring to cancel it as this frees up the time for someone else. Failure to cancel your appointment may result in your removal from this practice.
Same Day Appointments
For consultations that cannot wait for a routine appointment, we will endeavour to give you an appointment on the same day. You may not necessarily see the doctor of your choice.
If all the appointments for the day are booked up, the receptionist will ask you to give a brief outline of your problem and pass it to the on-call doctor who will decide to see you as an emergency or if you need to book a subsequent routine appointment.
Please help us and other patients needing emergency attention by not requesting repeat certificates, repeat prescriptions, or referrals and long standing medical problems in the same day surgeries.
